
The ASEAN PSTI Network for the 2025-2026 term handed over to IPA, Brunei, held at NAPA in Hanoi
On 29th Nov 2024, the convenorship of the ASEAN PSTI Network for the 2025–2026 term has been handed over to Brunei, Institut Perkhidmatan Awam (IPA). In her speech, Dr Hjh Noor Maya binti Hj Md Salleh, the Director of IPA, has expressed gratitude to National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) of Viet Nam, the outgoing convenor for their contributions and successful organization of PSTI events in 2023 and 2024. As the member of ASEAN Public Service Training Institution (PSTI) Network, IPA is deeply honored to assume the role of convenor for the two-year term.
Brunei Darussalam has been dedicated to fostering cooperation and capacity building within the ASEAN PSTI Network, with goals that include promoting the exchange of best practices among public service officials.
The meeting was held at NAPA in Hanoi with the presence of His Excellency Dr. Vu Chien Thang, Vice Minister of Home Affairs of Vietnam, which centered on the theme of transforming leadership and management training to prepare civil services for future challenges in the context of globalization and rapid technological advancements.
Upcoming workshops in Brunei will focus on developing a competent workforce in the age of AI and exploring the role of PSTI in public sector innovation. These initiatives aim to strengthen public service leadership and enhance collaboration among PSTI members and international experts.
