



Public Governance Forum
Institut Perkhidmatan Awam (IPA) was invited to attend the Public Governance Forum, co-organised by the Chandler Institute of Governance (CIG), the Viet Nam Academy of Public Administration and Governance (APAG), the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The forum was held on 24 October 2025 at Bao Son International Hotel, Ha Noi, Viet Nam.
The Public Governance Forum served as a platform for Vietnamese and international scholars, experts, and practitioners to exchange insights and propose solutions in the field of public administration. With the theme “Enhancing Innovation Capacity towards National Sustainable Development in the New Era,” the forum explored the role of innovation, science and technology, and digital transformation in national development, as well as strategies for embedding innovation in public governance and strengthening national innovation capacity. The programme featured presentations, policy dialogues, and panel discussions.
Dr. Hajah Noor Maya binti Hj Md Salleh, Director of Institut Perkhidmatan Awam delivered the welcoming remarks on behalf of Brunei Darussalam and the ASEAN Public Service Training Institutes (PSTI) Network, sharing insights on “Leadership for Innovation in the Era of Globalization and Technological Revolution” during the session “Strategic Vision – Viet Nam in the New Era,” and contributing as a panellist in the roundtable discussion on “Enhancing Innovation Capacity for Local Government Leaders and Public Servants: The Role of Training Institutions in the Context of Comprehensive Public Service Reform.
