The 37th Executive Development Program for Middle-Management Officers (EDPMMO-37) officially commenced on Monday, 29 June 2026 at Dewan Ittisal, Institut Perkhidmatan Awam.
The ceremony was officiated by Yang Mulia Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Governance, Prime Minister’s Office. Also in present were Yang Mulia Dr. Awang Norfarizal bin Othman, Director-General of Public Service Department, Yang Mulia Dr. Dayang Hajah Noor Maya binti Haji Md. Salleh, Director of Institut Perkhidmatan Awam, as well as officials from both departments.
In his remarks, the Guest of Honour congratulated the 23 selected participants and highlighted the important role of middle managers in translating strategies into action. The programme aims to strengthen leadership knowledge, competencies and strategic thinking among middle-management officers, equipping them to lead their teams effectively in facing future challenges and the evolving needs of the public service.
