Introduction

This course is design to introduce participants to the basic functions and features of Microsoft Excel, a powerful spreadsheet tool used for recording, organizing, calculating, and analyzing numerical and statistical data. In response to the growing need for digital competency in data handling and reporting, this course supports individuals—particularly those with no prior experience—with foundational Excel skills for both professional and personal use. This course enables participants to enter and delete data, apply basic formulas, and create simple charts to visually present information

Learning Outcome

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • understand the use of a spreadsheet and its benefits.
  • utilise spreadsheet software in a day-to-day business environment effectively.
  •  indicate the names and functions of the Excel interface components.
  • enter, edit, and format data and cells.
  • construct formulas, including the use of built-in functions, and relative and absolute references.
  • create and modify charts.
