This course is designed to introduce participants to the principles, tools, and techniques for creating clear, engaging and informative infographics that can be easily digested by the audience/viewer. People learn and remember more effectively through the use of text and visuals than through text alone.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

• demonstrate understanding of basic design principles such as layout, typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy
• understand the purpose and use of infographics
• apply design best practices to communicate information effectively
• learn the concept of good and bad infographic designs

The course will use Kahoot as a pre-assessment and post-assessment tool. Participants will also be given an infographic project based on a selected topic.
