Introduction of e-learning
In order to move towards the implementation of
an e-government, the introduction of e-learning
in an institution will be an important solution.
As we all know, electronic learning or
e-learning technology generates an impact which
can influence both the individual learners and
the organizations learning processes.
Consequently, this technology has an undisclosed
potential to allow people to easily and
effectively jump into lifelong learning.
IPA one step further with e-learning
In context, currently IPA initiates e-learning
project as one of e-government initiatives, the
e-Learning
intends to make quality training easily
available to all its public. E-learning is a
learning portal that facilitates interaction,
communication, collaboration and allows content
delivery and assesses learners’ capabilities.
E-learning aims to empower the learner and
enhances the learning experience and
capabilities, from the conventional method (such
as classroom based training) into an integrated
system of traditional and modern knowledge
systems, so that it will be much easier to
access for application or learning purposes.
It is IPA’s vision that e-learning will bring
about great changes to the public sector’s
learning and training culture which will
positively affect and benefit government
institutions and all public sector personnel by
empowering them to determine and plan their
learning needs.
