iPA to Conduct Competency Profiling For Civil Service

Objective and scope

  • To address IPA training plan for each cluster of groups: Executive Level, Middle Management, Junior Middle Management, Supervisory Level and Support Staff.
  • To develop competency model to be aligned with wawasan 2035 and Wawasan Perkhidmatan Awam.

Target Job Group

  • Executive Level (Superscale – Director)
  • Middle Management Level (Division II – BE & Group – Deputy and Assistant Director)
  • Junior Middle Management (Division II – B2)
  • Supervisory level (Division III)
  • Support Staff (Division IV & V)

Project Period

The project started on December 2009 and expected to be completed by May 2010.

Deliverables

  • Interim competency model with identification of themes and patterns that covers the core, role and behavioral competency.

  • Training map.
  • Course curriculum.
