What is ICDL?

"ICDL is a mass consumer product that has fast become the most widely recognised computer qualification worldwide, aimed at raising the level of IT knowledge and competency of all computer users as well as to ensure that best practice and quality issues are understood and implemented.

How it works is that the syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of Computer, its practical application and their use in the workplace and society in generals.

What is more important for those who are new to computers, ICDL will provide them with a solid foundation of computer skills helping them to competently and confidently use computers. The licence will also confirm the individuals' potential to the employers that he or she has a recognised, relevant and up-to-date qualification.
